What a deal!! What a year!!

Long time since I posted as this past year has been a whirlwind. Just when we thought the industry was through changing this past year has brought greater change. HVCC, MDIA, new RESPA requirements coming in January, FHA changing, etc. and etc. I can go on, but you know the story.

The question today is about the wholesale channel. I see new players coming into the system, but many of my clients are either aligning with a mortgage banker, alinging with a net branch operation, or losing loan officers to institutional lenders.

Is the broker/wholesale channel disintegrating? Will this channel be around next year or be something we don't even recognize. Reply back and let me know what you think.

Set up - The Initial Entry

This is my first attempt at blogging, so I know I will need some work to make this happen and have some content. I am going to try this with a conversational approach rather than some formal language that bores people when they read it. I am hoping to catch some interest, and provide for some playful moments, and hopefully some insight into the work of a mortgage Account Executive.



The mortgage world has changed more in the past 12 months than the entire 25 years I have been in the industry. I don't really know where it is going. I don't know where this blog is going.
